Summer is coming to an end. We will miss everyone that joined us for the 2024 camp season! We are so happy that we got to meet so many new friends and welcome all the new baby animals with you all. We have one more week of camp left and we are cherishing the moments we have left of the summer with you! We hope to see you next week for our eleventh session. If you're unable to make it, we hope to see you in October for our harvest festival. Cider and donuts are right around the corner!
During our tenth session of camp we host a mock county fair for the campers. We play common carnival games. Campers can play any game they would like and if they win the counselors will give them tickets. The tickets can be used to get "purchase" sno-cones, popcorn or dunk a counselor in the dunk tank. Another option to use the tickets is placing them in any of the directors jars. Which ever director receives the most tickets in their jar gets a pie in the face!
When campers receive tickets from the games they play, they have a choice to place tickets in a camp director jar. Can you guess which director got a pie in their face this year!?
Drum roll please......! The pie in the face went to....... Farmer Andy!
We never skip out on tie-dye! On Wednesday, campers bring a white shirt to tie-dye. They can wear them on Friday to show off their creations.
Nature Sallie is always encouraging kids to get dirty! Down at the lake, the campers go swamping for different creatures!
On Thursday, we had the last late stay of the year. Our annual hot dog and corn roast over the fire. Campers get to cook their own hot dogs (with supervision and assistance) and this year Scott (our new maintance man) roasted the corn. Its a blast!
We didn't stray from the crafts! Heidi helped campers make cool water color tiles!

Ending the summer off with a bang! Here are our C.O.W's for the end of the summer. Thank you for all your hard work this year, we loved spending the summer with all of you!
