Session Six Newsletter 2024

What a week! More than half way through the summer and the campers and counselors find a way to keep the summer new. We love hanging with the animals and friends.

Tie-dye! We love tie-dye wednesday. Every week campers have the option to tie-dye a 100% cotton t-shirt. We tie a special design and the campers put which ever colors they would like on the shirt. It can get messy but the campers have a blast!

Nature Sallie lets the kids get down and dirty in the swamps. We always find new creatures to show. A few campers found salamanders and frogs! Super cool!

Yayyyy! Horseback riding! Campers are always excited when we tack up the horse for activity time! They have the option to ride by themselves or have a counselor walk with them.

More Crafts! We had tons of crafts and cooking activities this week!

If you're not very crafty, we have sporting activities too! Counselors played volleyball with a bunch of campers! Staying active!

Every week, Farmer Andy has all hands on deck. Campers can help our farmer barn clean. They help spread fresh straw for all our animals. After the random rain we had this week, it was needed. The animals were very appreciative for dry beds!

Some campers went on a hike, and made some flower crowns! So Cute!

Campers made name tags with Heidi! They took a different but fun aproach and hydro dipped them instead of painting them!

C.O.W! The counselors of the week are head counselor Rania (left), assistant counselor Emma (middle) and CIT Nora (right). Thank you for your amazing work! Keep working hard! The campers love you! :)
