Horse Camp

For Ages 8 and up. 

Horse Camp Overview

For Ages 8 Years and Up, boys and girls

  • Learn basic horsemanship including leading, grooming, tacking, diet and horse health. 

  • Horse related activities, crafts and games.

  • Riders will have free choice time following snack time.

  • Daily riding lessons.

Session One: June 23 - 27

Session Two: July 07 - 11

Session Three: July 21 - 25

Session Four: August 04 - 08 


Days: Monday - Friday 

Times: 12:00pm - 5:00pm
(Aftercare until 6pm available for an additional cost)

Cost: $485.00 per session. A deposit of $50.00 is due with the registration forms and the balance of $435.00 will be due two weeks prior to the first day of camp. 

Camp Tips

  • Clothes: boots with a heel or closed toe shoes and casual clothing are recommended. Flip Flops and animal hooves do not mix. 

  • Helmets are provided, campers are welcome to bring their own. 

  • Campers should bring a snacks with their name on it. Snacks will be refrigerated, we provide water and lemonade each day. 

  • Campers should bring a water bottle labeled with their name. Note: their are two drinking fountains on the farm. 

  • Bring a swimsuit and towel on Monday in the event that horse camp visit the lake for a refreshing cool down. The towel and swimsuit will stay through the week and go home with the camper on Friday. 

  • Leave all items of value at home, Upland Hills Farm is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Additionally, we will not send items in the mail. 

  • Dress for the weather, camp will be open rain or shine. 

  • Apply sunscreen at home prior to coming to camp. If your camper requires special sunscreen please send with your campers name on it and indicate in the health form. 

  • Bug Spray is supplied by the camp when needed. 

  • Horse Camp Deposits are refundable up to June 1st, cancellations after June 1st forfeit their deposit. 

  • Final Camp payment is due two weeks prior to the start of camp.
