Summer Day Camp Counselor

Upland Hills Farm
is looking for individuals to work this summer as camp counselors.

Camp counselors are in charge of groups of children ages 5 -12 years of age. Counselors lead a variety of daily activities of their choice. Horseback riding, animal chores, nature, arts and crafts, sports and games to name a few. Each afternoon we enjoy swimming and boating at our lake.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be 18 or older to apply. Experience with children is a plus. Must be able to work on a farm setting in the hot summer sun.

Job-Type:
Camp begins June 17 and concludes August 23. Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. to  4:00 p.m. We ask our staff to commit to work 8 of the 10 weeks of camp. Starting wage to be determined.

Horse Back Riding Director

Upland Hills Farm is looking for an individual to direct our horse back riding program during our Summer Day Camp programs.

The Horse Back riding Director is responsible for the care of all horses. Morning feeding and grooming to be done before camp begins each riding day. Horses need to be properly saddled and bridled before camp begins. The Horse Back Riding Director will instruct campers on basic horse etiquette, basic riding knowledge and safety around the horses at all times.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be 18 or older to apply. Must have previous experience with children and horses. Must be able to instruct campers and horses in an organized fashion while maintaining an enjoyable atmosphere.

Job-Type: Camp begins June 17 and concludes August 23. Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. to  4:00 p.m. Our horse back riding program takes place three days per week. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Two of the three days are half days while the third is a whole day providing afternoon riding opportunities with more experienced riders. Starting wage to be determined.
